Summer party

Three dresses, mini, midi & long and tube top for a monster high (teen) dolls.








Yarns used: teetee alpakka (red), Zwerger Garn Opal mini balls (white-green), Svarta Fåret Candy (gold) and Sandnes Garn Sisu Solids (black)
Needles: 2 mm / US 0 or needles to get the gauge
Gauge: 8.5 sts = 1 inch. Note: with Svarta Fåret (gold) gauge: 10 sts = 1 inch
Worked in the round (top down) with dpns

k = knit
M1 = make one (pick up the strand that runs between the stitch you just knit and the next stitch on the left-hand needle: insert the left needle from front to back into the horizontal strand between the two stitches. Knit this stitch through the back loop)
p = purl
sts = stitches
( ) = repeat sts which are inside the parenthesis





Mini dress

Cast on 22 sts. Divide sts in to three needles and join in the round.
Rows 1-5: (k1, p1) repeat
Row 6: knit
Continue knitting until work measures 2" from the cast on edge. Then work first increases: k2, M1, k18, M1, k2 (24 sts)
Knit one round
Now work the second increases: (k3, M1) repeat (32 sts)
Knit until work measures 3" from the cast on edge. Bind off with k1, p1 rib. Weave in all ends.





Midi dress - Little red dress

Cast on 22 sts with teetee alpakka. Divide sts in to three needles and join in the round.
Rows 1-5: (k1, p1) repeat
Row 6: knit
Continue knitting until work measures 2" from the cast on edge. Then work first increases: k2, M1, k18, M1, k2 (24 sts)
Knit one round
Now work second increases: (k3, M1) repeat (32 sts)
Knit until work measures 3" from the cast on edge. Change yarn to Svarta Fåret (gold) and work third increases: k2, M1, (k3, M1) repeat (43 sts)
Continue knitting until golden part measures 1 1/4" . Bind off. Weave in all ends.




Long dress

Cast on 22 sts. Divide sts in to three needles and join in the round.
Rows 1-5: (k1, p1) repeat
Row 6: knit
Continue knitting until work measures 2" from the cast on edge. Then work first increases: k2, M1, k18, M1, k2 (24 sts)
Knit one round
Now work second increases: (k3, M1) repeat (32 sts)
Knit until work measures 2 3/4" from the cast on edge. (Change yarn here if you want.) Work third increases: k2, M1, (k3, M1) repeat (43 sts)
Continue knitting until dress measures 6 3/4" from cast on edge. Bind off. Weave in all ends. Block if needed.







Tube top

Cast on 22 sts. Divide sts in to three needles and join in the round.
Rows 1-5: (k1, p1) repeat
Row 6: knit
Continue knitting until work measures 2" from the cast on edge. Then work increases: k2, M1, k18, M1, k2 (24 sts)
Knit one round.
Bind off and weave in all ends.
