Baggy pants for monster high doll



Yarn used: Alegría, Manos del Uruguay
Needles: 2 mm / US 0 or needles to get the gauge
Gauge: 8.5 sts = 1 inch
Worked in the round (top down) with dpns


k = knit
M1 = make one (pick up the strand that runs between the stitch you just knit and the next stitch on the left-hand needle: insert the left needle from front to back into the horizontal strand between the two stitches. Knit this stitch through the back loop)
p = purl
sts = stitches


Cast on 24 stitches. Divide sts in to three needles and join in the round.
Rows 1-3: (k1, p1) repeat
Row 4: (k3, M1) repeat to the end of row = 32 sts
Row 5: knit
Continue knitting until work measures about 5 cm / 2" (crotch area is loose and baggy)



Trouser legs
You will work with first 16 sts knitting in the round. Leave other 16 sts waiting.
Knit until first trouser leg measures about 3 cm / 1 1/8". Bind off.
Work with remaining sts; join in yarn and work other trouser leg as before.

Now your doll is ready to relax after sport or perhaps she attends to a dance lesson, yoga or skateboarding!
